On the way home...

So when you are only an hour away from Vegas, and there happens to be a special little girl that lives there, how can you not stop on your way home from Mesquite?

On our way back from Mesquite we stopped to see Katana. Every time we see her she is bigger and prettier. This trip we were able meet her new puppy, Chloe. For Easter her Grandma got her a golden retriever puppy. Katana was able to go with her grandma and pick the puppy from the litter. Right away she knew she wanted to name the puppy Chloe. When the puppy was old enough to leave the mother, they were able to bring her home. Chloe is a very sweet puppy, very calm and very gentle.

We took Katana to get some breakfast. We didn't have much time to spend with her but we had was a lot of fun. She had pancakes and we talked about what she is doing these days. She is now potty trained and spends most of her time training Chloe. She is speaking so well and in such complete sentences.

In the picture I took with her we are standing next to a flower planter box that she helped her grandpa plant. It is full of beautiful little flowers.

We hope to get down there again at least one more time this summer and hopefully maybe she'll be able to come visit us up here at some point.

We love you Katana!

Katana is beautiful and looks so happy! I think Chloe looks like the sweetest puppy! What a great pick. I hope you all get to spend a lot of time with each other in the future. Cindy
